Young people who have experienced trauma

Laying on Grass

Trauma is different than life's ups and downs. Trauma is a terrible event that is incredibly hard to process. For some people, trauma is a series of many terrible events.

We carry unprocessed trauma with us everywhere.
It is present in our relationship with others influencing how we connect and respond. It can make us jumpy, on high alert, and on guard for danger. It can zap our energy, interrupt our sleep, and isolate us while increasing our feelings of stress and anxiety.

How we can help.

You'll never know your full potential until you give yourself a chance. Traumatic events are the type of events that can be too difficult to process on our own. So they sit there on high alert, taking over, and sometimes even begin controlling our lives. Together, we can work on processing your trauma, getting your life back (or letting it truly begin) as we move forward in the direction right for you.
