Meet Alisa
Clients often describe me as someone who creates a safe, welcoming space — a place where those “ah-ha” moments of clarity and personal insight happen. It’s a privilege to be part of that transformation.
I believe in the power of genuine connection and meaningful conversations. With over 30 years of experience in special education, youth work, and non-profit, I bring deep compassion, insight, and real-world understanding to my counselling work. My person-centered, solution-focused, and strength-based approach draws from a variety of theories to meet your unique needs and guide you toward positive, lasting change.
I’m also a lifelong learner. After following my passion and completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, I founded Growing Minds Counselling to help people like you thrive.
When I’m not in session, I love ocean walks, exploring unusual travel spots, and singing karaoke with friends. My partner, our grown kids, and our golden doodle Joey keep me grounded and smiling.
Let’s begin our journey together. Schedule a free 30-minute consultation and take the first step toward a brighter tomorrow.
